A Letter to My Friend
Hello, my friend!
How are you? Jerusalem has many faces. This is the city with arts, culture and history. The Old Town is amazing with different colours. Now, I felt Jerusalem like my home because I opened my eyes, soul and heart for new life experience. |
I have never seen sky this blue like here! Everything is magic, so much history and beauty in all quarters. This country has something special in the air and different. I wasn't afraid and decided to go.
I need to get back and visit again. I am sure. With love, Jelena |

Is this true?
Is this fair to everyone? Is this build good will and friendship? Is this useful for everyone? |
When you sleep, do you dream of flying to the sky?
When you people hurt you, do you still believe in God? Do you know who am I? These are days of fast travel... |
How Does Learning Smell
Learning smells on book, happiness, life experience and strong coffee. Learning new skills makes you better so you can find what you love to
|
do. But sometimes learning is boring and you can’t find any logical reason for it. So, take a break.

How do I know I am in Jerusalem?
First of all, the weather is better than Serbia. Also, I saw weird money, letters and a lot of expensive things. Jerusalem is an incredibly old city in the world, very unique as it is the centre of three major religions.
|
There is the very high level of security, but I didn't feel unsafe there. I heard different languages, especially Hebrew for the first time in my life. The Jewish people are everywhere.
|
Yad Vashem
Yad Vashem remembers the past and memory for future generations. It is almost impossible to believe that one generation could be so evil, wicked, and cruel to so many innocent people, especially to children.
|
I saw so many videos, photos, documents, clothes, shoes... I hope that this dark history of humanity will never be repeated. Visiting Yad Vashem is something I will always remember. Their memory lives on.
|
The Dead Sea
This was one of the most beautiful trips I have ever had. I collected enough Vitamin Sea. The seaside gave me space and time to think well about my future choices, goals, and life. And also, it gave me a chance to discover new things, to overcome some fears I have had, and to bring sunshine into my life after the storm. I was really happy, with positive energy and smile.

We, Serbs were laughing because we were making jokes and were talking loudly. But, people here are so quiet, and they don't speak too much in public. I have some dilemma in my head. Is it rude in this country to talk to a stranger? Is it rude to make eye contact with someone on a bus or a train? Is it rude to speak a foreign language or laugh in front of them? I don't know answers for these questions. Should there be a right to speak or a right to remain silent?

Museum
Beauty never dies. The museum presents the largest collection of Jewish art in the world. It was impressive gallery, especially pictures of modern arts. The museum demonstrates the strong connections between archaeology, fine arts and Jewish arts. Everything inside and outside of the museum is amazing. This is a place where you feel the power of arts and history together.
