Be the Change You Want to See in the World
Different lives but the similar destinies. Is it possible that a single piece of paper and someone's signature on it may ruin the millions of lives, trough centuries? Who is responsible for having memorials nowadays? Why are we listening to a letter from mother whose baby was taken from her and even that letter was thrown away through the window of the train?
Is the human being just a number, a fact, a pair of shoes or we all have dignity? |
Millions of victims was not expecting someones empathy, they lived the real stoicism.
This visit to the Museum of the Holocaust is changing my life, because I finally realize that it's only important to live your own life with the basic human rights and to respect others! Histories are influenced by memories and the memories have histories too. We just need to see, to feel, to act and not to forget! |
Waterfall
Hearing all those words from Hebrew, Russian, German, Serbian language. Searching for the next step on our maps, losing our breaths because of climbing to the top, taking selfies...
Who could imagine that every step forward means some new challenge? While we were walking to the waterfalls, the group of girls with the school uniforms become our new company. We were talking about their culture, language, and the life of youths here; about wonderful nature in oasis, specific animals, insects we saw there for the first time, and breathtaking view from the top. Language barriers become more expressed and the girls considered that we are from Syria, instead of Serbia. That inspired us to talk about conflicts here, there, everywhere. Conflicts may be the reason to be afraid of life. |
When human being die once
because of something, and than it die again Because of something else, and then die one more time because something hurt him again, Than it stops counting his own deaths stop going on its own funerals, stop griefing for itself, stop expecting empathy, doesn't put remembrance of those days, Just lives, used to death, don't afraid of living! |

How Does Learning Smells
Learning is a special process. Learning means living, and living means learning! It reminds me on smells of pages from a new book, on peace i feel in library when i only hear overturning the pages. It reminds me on warm coffee, or smell of hot chocolate on rainy days, so peaceful.
|
It smells on connecting with new people, different cultures, languages... It smells on travelling, exploring, discovering. To me it means: love, faith, hope, wish, smile, memories and happiness... because learning with pleasure means never forgeting.

The Israel Museum, Jerusalem
I think my eyes have never seen something so huge, so full of everything. Something that may be interesting for everyone. This museum makes me feel like I’m reading a book of this country and I don’t have to imagine the scenes from it, I have them in front of me. Or, that may be some kind of Guide that leads me to trough every sphere of life in Israel. I was delighted by its library, by an exhibition of authentic clothes trough centuries, and amazing paintings of a modern artist
|
which took my breath away. I realised that visiting a museum of some country is one of the best ways to learn about that nation, because art is a human wish to express himself, to note his own reflection on the world where he lives... I am so glad for an opportunity to visit this museum, for seeing something that I never had the opportunity to read or hear about. The fact is that we are all different but there’s always something that keeps us together, Israeli art and history I saw today makes me feel connected with this country.

A Letter to a Friend
Dear friend,
I’m writing you this letter from Jerusalem. I want to share with you my first impression about this city. Everything you know about it becomes more intense and deeply when you feel it personally. No matter if you are religious or not, at the time you come to the Old City of Jerusalem you will have a sense of belonging. There is something that is common for all those differences. I didn’t yet realise what is that, but I am sure i just need an extra time to discover and learn more. You know what people say: “experience is the best teacher”! Love from Jerusalem, A. |
